About Royal Guardsman
The Canterbury Bears Royal Guardsman is made from a pure, sparse, coffee coloured mohair with reversed pads and paws.
He is fully articulated with traditional wooden joints and is soft filled with recyclable materials with a weighted bad in his tummy. He has shiny black safety-locking eyes and a hand-embroidered nose, creating an endearing expression.
Fully dressed in authentic Royal Guard attire, the Guardsman wears a fully lined ultra-suede jacket with functioning metal poppers, embroidered with the 2023 King’s Coronation medal.
He also wears a pair of smart black cotton trousers with the iconic red stripe running down the side seam. He is complete with a traditional bearskin hat created from a soft black plush with a decorative gold braid.

Care Instructions
We recommend washing Royal Guardsman in warm soapy water. Royal Guardsman can be gently brushed and blow dried with cool air. We don't recommend submerging in water.

However, over a lifetime, they may need some TLC. After purchasing Royal Guardsman, if it needs structural repair (eg. seams that have come undone, an unravelled nose, or loose eyes), we will repair free of charge.
If there has been accidental damage (we know how much your pets like our products!) then we can quote for a repair. In either instance please contact us with images and we can talk you through next steps.
